Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris consists of three areas: the Disney Village (with five hotels, shops and restaurants), Parc Disneyland (five theme parks) and Parc Walt Disney Studios.

About Paris
The five 'lands' in Parc Disneyland start with Frontierland where you will find the Big Thunder Mountain Rollorcoaster which hurtles you through caves and mining tunnels, and the Thunder Mesa Riverboat, which will take you for a more relaxed ride. You can take the steam train from the Frontierland Depot and visit Fantasyland, Discoveryland and Main Street, U.S.A.

Fantasyland is the place where fairytale characters come to life. See them all from snow white to sleeping beauty, Pinocchio to Peter Pan. You can wander around Alice's Curious Labyrinth, take a ride in a giant tea-cup on the Mad Hatter's tea-table or visit the magnificent Castle of Sleeping Beauty.

Discoveryland is the futuristic land, where you can time-travel in Le Visionarium, explore the depths of the ocean in Captain Nemo's submarine, take a journey to the moon on board a space shuttle or take an intergalactic adventure on the Starspeeder 3000 space ship. A must for enquiring minds!

In Main Street, U.S.A. you can see what an American street may have looked like in the early 1900's…..apart from when the Disney characters do their daily Parades up and down the street, something not to missed! This wide street has pretty painted timber houses, signs, shops, restaurants, you can take a ride on a horse-drawn street cars or visit Discovery Arcade and see inventions from times gone by.

Finally, there is Adventureland, home to the Pirates of the Caribbean. There is also Adventure Island, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, an exciting rollarcoaster which goes backwards, and Aladdin's Oriental Palace.
